Independence Day - July 4th, 2012 LIBERATE THE LIMITEDS! - The people have cried out to liberate the limiteds! They have won their freedom and set them free! Limited items are now unlimited on the BBS. Help to celebrate by killing monsters! JAVA LOGON - April 30th, 2012 The Java Telnet Applet has been updated for those who still don't have a regular telnet program. The graphics will look a little smoother and the scrollback buffer has been increased. Hey, give it a try while at work! Trade Wars 2002 - April 4th, 2012 Two TW2002 games are now running on the BBS. Happy Birthday! - April 1st, 2012 Wow can you believe we have been around for 25 years now. Happy Birthday to ODS BBS and all those who have visited us over the years. Thank You! Many wonderful friends have been made, lost, and found again years later at the same spot. Logon today and find us again. :) MajorMUD Swept - April 1st, 2012 Floors have been swept and items removed (along with any coins) from non-ganghouse areas. So some items once thought lost forever should now be back into the mix following drop rates of item. This doesn't mean people should hoard items in ganghouses, but an opportunity to recover things lost over time. (SHARE WHAT YOU CAN'T USE NOW, SRSLY) Trade Wars 2002 - February 14th, 2012 Just in time for Valentine's day, the game we all love to play, Trade Wars 2002 has been re-installed off the game menu. We have started with a small 250 turn game just to get everyone re-introduced to it with a quick easy one that won't take much time of your day to play! Send flowers. FARWEST TRIVIA - January 16th, 2012 Yes that's right the classic old game of trivia is back! Grab some friends and head to the teleconference menu to enter the game. See if you can get the high score for the month or all-time for the year! Yes, the questions in there really are that old. That's what makes it a classic! DUPLICATE IP CONTROL Duplicate IP Control has been installed and will be limiting people to TWO connections per IP address. This is to better control people from having multiple accounts in the games, while allowing some people who share their internet to still play. (It's not a perfect solution but helpful) OPERATION: FREE ACCESS New members will now be given a "BRONZE" account that will give you unlimited access daily.
