Operation DataStorm is more than just another web page
or online service, this is more of an offramp from the internet since you arrive at
a final destination, an online community. With a history starting from 1987 located
in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the system has grown to have members from around the country
and world!
System Features
Teleconference: This is where people gather to talk
about the daily news, or events going on this week. Maybe you have the need to share
your favorite song lyrics, or if you want to get the latest gossip about friends, do it
all here in our chat room. You also have your very own private room that you control
and can invite people into.
MajorMUD: Well what is a system without some sort
of games to play, this is where one of the hottest games around is! A fantasy/adventure
game that is interactive with other players who can help you along in your quest. We
have other games as well such as Farwest Trivia, Legend of the Red Dragon, Trade Wars 2002,
and more!
Gatherings: What fun is being online, if you can't
get offline once in a while to meet with everyone you've been chatting with? We have
active members who get together every couple weeks for almost any reason and at almost
all times of the day and night. Movie runs, food runs, or just gathering out of boredom
to pass some time.
Account Classes
BRONZE: A class that is FREE! You will have unlimited
connection time daily and will have access to most features including the games. This is for people who just want to chat a little or play for a few hours daily.
This is now the new default class.
COST: FREE
PLATINUM: An unlimited class allowed to
stay online without any hourly charges. You may stay online as long as you are able to connect or
stay connected to the system. This class can use "sys goto" and "sys map" commands in MajorMUD.
COST: FREE (Available after 30 days)
This is more than just a typical system, this is a community
of people who prefer to have a private system protecting them from others who logon only for the
purpose of annoying people on other systems. As a private system, we are able to keep
things friendly and more enjoyable for everyone, that is where the true value of our system shines.
